I recently moved into my apartment here at Lakewood, and I could not be more pleased. I worked with Suzanna for months in order to get my perfect apartment, with all of the updates and and must-haves I was looking for. Even coming to do my first visit I could tell there as a more personal experience to process. I look forward to staying here with my cat, who loves looking out at the dog park on site!

Lakewood Apartment has a wonderful staff. Suzanna and Jazmyn were extremely helpful with us making the great decision to move here. Ryan is awesome also. We highly recommend them and Lakewood!!!

Great Place to Stay
2/22/23
I have been living in Lakewood Apartments for two years. I planned to move to an apartment closer to school but decided not to. The reasons were 1) location - it is away from the heavy traffic and noise near the local university, the Haslett and Okemos area is much quieter and more peaceful, also the Okemos versions of big-chain grocery stores, etc., are much better than Lansing. 2) the people working at Lakewood Apartments are very helpful - Suzanna and Jazmyn are responsive to my questions and... accommodate. 3) maintenance requests are resolved quickly and promptly; Steven and Andy do a nice job - they find the root of the maintenance problem, and those issues don't arise again (but regardless, they do inspections to ensure the apartments are in good condition). The staff are nice and great; they don't make me feel like another tenant, but a resident.

Best apartment complex I've lived in

I have lived at Lakewood for a year, and I love it here. This is the best apartment place I've lived because of the apartment management team (office and maintenance teams). Jazmyn and Suzanna really care about the community, they're responsive to questions, very communicative, go above and beyond to help or find answers. They were so welcoming when I moved in and helped me navigate everything I needed to get set up in my apartment. I've had a lot of maintenance requests (as is normal for... apartments), and the maintenance team is extremely responsive, friendly and make your fixes feel like their top priority. I've felt very safe and cared for here. This apartment is in a fabulous location, close to the local parks and it feels like you're out in the middle of nature while still close to all the amenities of a big city. Also, this apartment complex is dog-friendly, with a great yard for my dog to play in.

Great place to call home

The management is extremely friendly and works hard to continue to improve Lakewood apartments. They are very hard workers and I’m really glad to be somewhere that the people actually care. Great laundry facilities they are clean and the machines work great too prices for laundry aren’t crazy. The pool is super clean and clear and it’s great to relax. Sometimes the complex does events at the pool or office and games it’s a great place to live. You feel comfortable and you’re treated with respect... and kindness. Grateful to be here
