I've lived here less than a month and cannot wait to move. Should have known when the leasing experience was such a cluster... they sent me to the wrong address to pick up my keys. I paid $200 as part of my lease for a redecoration fee.. which supposedly included cleaning and updates. The apartment was disgustingly dirty. Brown stains on the baseboards in the bathroom. A half inch of dust on all the vents. They didn't even bother wiping the counters down. As far as basic maintenance I don't know... when the last time a maintenance person has been in this apartment. The blinds don't even match. In the lesson month that I've lived here I've had two packages stolen. Sending emails, calling me office all hopeless. Completely impossible to get a hold of anyone. Midtown has been the best apartment I have lived in during my time as a student at MSU. The location is great for students who need to get to campus, the grocery store, downtown etc. The leasing manager, Justin was extremely accommodating when it came to splitting bills with roommates, paying rent and knowing what he was talking about in general about the property. The building is new and we did not ever have a major problem. If we requested maintenance for anything, it was handled... professionally and in a timely manner. Maintenance would leave a report on the island for you which was very nice. I didn't have on problem with the apartments. It's a quiet environment to live in. I loved living at Midtown. It's close to campus, it's quiet and my neighbors were amazing!
