Raft Hill is one of 17 Cooperative Houses within the... Spartan Housing Cooperative (SHC) network. Cooperatives are democratically owned and operated enterprises. Housing cooperatives, in particular, are collectively managed through an intentional community framework. In all of SHC’s houses, common spaces are shared, and you either share a bedroom or get your own. You must apply individually to the SHC, complete the membership process detailed on the website, and be accepted by the house to sign a contract.
