Housing cooperatives, in particular, are collectively managed through an intentional community framework. In all of SHC’s houses, common spaces are shared, and you can either share a bedroom or get your own. You must apply individually to the SHC, complete the membership process detailed on the website, and be accepted by the house to sign a contract.
